Welcome to Shady Creek Winery, Michigan City’s premier vineyard and winery since 2009. We proudly produce over 28 unique wines, including sweet, sparkling, dry white, and dry red varieties, crafted to suit every palate. Our mission is to pair exceptional wine and food with a warm, inviting atmosphere—whether you're discovering wine for the first time or deepening your appreciation. We visited Shady Creek on 11/08/25 during a girls weekend! We sat in the pop up bar section and had the best afternoon! Julia and Elizabeth are the best! Their service was fantastic! We had so many laughs! The food and drinks were delicious! The gift shop area was cool and Nevaeh was so sweet helping us with our purchases. I want to go back soon! Cheers!

First time at this location, we are used to going to TrailYard. My 5 star rating is due to the service of the wait staff and kitchen. . Of course the wine and food was great. But the exceptional service from the bar staff, especially one of the girls, we have a gluten allergic daughter.. and yes even though they are making gluten free pizzas already, but cross contamination is extremely common with pizzas due to the prep involved. The wonderful girl talked to the kitchen staff, mentioned the concern, they prepared her pizza in a different spot away from flour & cleaned the oven! The pizza was excellent and my daughter enjoyed it VERY much. We will be back in the future!
